Therapeutic Use:
The Onureg drug is a proscription medicine used to treat Acute Myleoid Lukemia in adults. It is not known whether these medicine is useful for children below 18 years age.
WHO SHOULD AVOID TAKING:
The person having allergy with azacitidine should not take as these can develop severe or mild allergic reaction to the patient undergoing therapy.
Care to be taken during therapy:
Before taking Onureg the health care worker should now about health condition of the patient such as:
1. Have any kidney problem or not.
2. Onureg harms the pregnant women
Side Effects:
Due to administration of the Onureg in to the patient, patient may develop new or worsonening of the white blood cells these condition is known as neutropenia.
Low plaltelet count are common but the condition may go severe during the treatment.
Other common side effect seen in the patient are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, joint pain, constipation, dizziness.
Storage condition of Onureg;
Store Onureg tablet at room temperature.
